Passing Interview by Eating Rice


Most of the times we face such situations that are stressful and unpredictable. All we need to do is to be flexible and responsive enough to handle such situations.

Getting prepared is important but we need to fuel up our body to an extent that we can handle these unpredictable situations in an efficient manner. These situations differ greatly. It might be the interview through which you have to undergo or it might be any natural calamity which is not determined and is unforeseen. Apart from getting prepared mentally to face all these situations one needs to have a closer look on his/her diet plan. It should be balanced in a way that it provides maximum energy and should not provoke anything wrong.

Eating Rice:

Rice is a seed of monocot plant called Oryza sativa. In many parts of the world by eating they mean to eat rice. Rice is available in its different forms. One is White rice that undergo through polishing process. Second one is Brown rice that has only its outermost layer removed. The nutritional value that we get from both differs greatly.

Passing interview by eating rice:

Whenever you go for an interview you need to be self-assured and confident. You should be calm, sharp and prepared to answer any type of questions asked by the interviewer. You should have a proper meal before going for an interview. Here the decision on your part comes that what to eat. Do not go without eating anything because by doing so you might feel hunger pangs and may feel uneasy during the interview.

Deciding on food:

Now you need to decide that what to have in food. You should take food that is rich in proteins. It might be a fish, vegetables, chicken, bread, a cup of brown rice and white rice.

Brown rice and white rice are quite effective when deciding on food before going for an interview.

Why to take rice:

As we know that both white rice and Brown rice are rich source of proteins. Proteins in white rice provide 9% of daily recommended value and Brown rice contain 5.2g of proteins. Proteins produce two types of chemicals called as norepinephrine and dopamine that control mental activities. They keep the brain alert and when you eat rice before appearing in an interview it will enable you to answer the questions in a much better way.

White rice is less in sodium content. They are very effective in reducing hypertension so one going for an interview can take it.

Brown rice is rich in manganese that helps in the production of energy through carbs and proteins and these proteins then stimulate neurotransmitters.

Tips to Follow:

  • One who is going for an interview should eat rice an hour before. This way they will be partially digested at the time of interview and will remain a continuous source of energy. Moreover the proteins in it continue stimulating the chemicals in brain.

  • Secondly a person going for an interview should not eat too much. Eating too much will make the interviewee stuffed and overfed. Overeating should be avoided.

  • Avoid eating high fat foods like cheese, bulky vegetables, butter and cream. They may cause nausea and you might feel uncomfortable.

Nature has provided us with variety of fruits, vegetables and grains. Consumption of everything in proper quantity and at a proper time not only keeps you healthy but also facilitates your body functions to work properly under certain conditions. Passing interview by eating rice not only increase your brain functionality but also is a rich source of energy. Brown rice and white rice are natural products that have great influence in making people energetic.
